A grant of Rs 5 lakh has been released by the Punjab government to the local Gaushala Committee headed by social worker Mahasha Pratigya Pal. Hazari Lal Garg, head of the Gaushala Committee, informed that the Punjab Government has handed over the check of the said amount of Rs 5 lakh to the managers of the Gaushala in a function organized in Chandigarh.
